Keep your government hands offa my medicare
This time it's not a teabagger at a "hate Obama" rally, it's a GOP Senate candidate in Colorado. Assuming their base has no understanding of how things actually work in this country, Republican Jane Norton: "Government Should Play No Role in Health Care".
Therefore, anyone receiving any kind of aid from Medicare or Medicaid should immediately be dropped, and have no health insurance whatsoever. Also, drug companies should be trusted to make any claims they want about their drugs, as the FDA should get out of the healthcare business. Oh yes, and there should be no minimum standards for cleanliness or safety in medical facilities. Plus, don't forget that we should stop all funding for medical research.
Ah, hollow Republican talking points. Such a bounty of comedy and tragedy.
Of course, this is the political party that would look at devastation on a massive scale, with thousands and thousands thousands dead, and have their lackey twist it into "proving" a ludicrous political point while completely discounting the value of human life.

Hey, speaking of the teabaggers...
One of their complaints is that the government is not transparent enough. Even though they supported the secrecy of the Bush Administration, choose to ignore the increased openness of the Obama Administration, and are going to close their entire convention to the media.

Same old Republican empty words. Do as I preach, not as I do.
